Peter's Story

Born and raised in Kodiak. Played little league, although couldn't tell you what team in early 60's. Survived the earthquake and resulting tsunami. I remember teenagers singing "Whole lotta rockin' going on" while on top of Pillar mountain. Joined the 23 gang - even have some residual India ink on my palm from the tattoo. High school, schoo...Expand for more
l dances, teen club. Toker, smoker, cannery worker. Then too long in the Air Force. Returned and eventually went fishing as a deckhand- salmon, crab, trawl and even shark once. Couple years out of Dutch Harbor and decided that I was gonna die out there so I became a Journeyman Electrician. Lottsa ups and downs but averages out pretty well.
