Peter's Story
After graduating from Harborfields, I went to Florida Presbyterian College in St. Pete. Then in 1969 went to University of Virginia School of Medicine, graduating 1973. Summers during that time I was at home in Centerport driving the launch at Centeport Yacht Club. Got married to Barbara May,1973 and still am! Next a year of Surgery internship at Ohio State then three years in the Indian Health Service in Gallup, N.M. Finished my training in OB/GYN at University of Washington in Seattle and moved to Boise, Idaho in 1980 where I was in practice until January 2010. r). Have travelled to visit our daughter who was in Germany with her husband in the Air Force. Made some side trips around Europe too. Now have 2 granddaughters, the latest just this month, 4/14. Our son will be working in Spokane, WA having just finished his Masters in Material Science Engineering.
Barbara and I have had enough of cold snowy winters and just recently purchased a house in The Villages, FL where we will spend winters. Summers will still be based in Idaho at our place in Pine, Idaho. Haven't been back to Centerport since about 1993 when my parents moved away but considering a trip back if there is a reunion coming up.
