Life
After leaving Lincoln Park and Boonton High School in 1976, my family spent some time in Rochester, MN before finally moving to Waco, TX, where I attended and graduated from Richfield High School from 1977 to 1979. After attending Brigham Young University for 4 1/2 years I graduating with a degree in Home Economics Education in Dec. 1984. I moved to where my family was now living, in Vista, California. Before trying to get a job, I served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, going to the Argentina, Buenos Aires South Mission. as working odd jobs until I figured out whether I wanted to go the extra steps to get a teaching credential in California or not. I met my future husband while working as a receptionist for a Physical Therapist. After I asked him out, we dated for about 2 years before we got married in February 1990. We got busy and had 4 children, 3 boys and 1 girl. They are now 18, 16, 14 and 12. We are very involved in Little League & High School baseball, Girls's softball, scouting and church activities. I have since gotten my credential and use it to substitute teach at my kids' elementary school. We live in the Mira Mesa neighborhood of San Diego. I still have trouble remember that the ocean is West, not East!
