Katherine Lavone's Story
I've lived a very simple life. I've been married for 41 years now to Don, who I met when he opened an Albertson store in Santa Rosa way back when. We have a daughter and a son and three awsome grandsons. I've been a stay at home mom mostly and now I'm a stay at home grandma. Started collage but didn't finish, which I do regret but I guess there are worse things in life. I'm still as straight laced as I was as a youth. Never tried pot or anything else but I do enjoy a good class of wine or two.I've sold all my horses, I was into American Paints and showed them for a few years intill I injured my back. So it was time to sell them. Now I do look back at times and think I wish I would have been a little more daring and not so scared to be more adventuresum. I just went through major back surgery so I don't think I'll be to daring about anything for a few months other than my new Doberman. n he's gone. Pierce, the puppy is just 5 months but already weight 60 lbs. so he's going to be a lot larger than my female was {105 lbs.} So has you can see my life is pretty mellow if not boring. I do cherish my family and friends that I've made over the years. I think in high school I really never felt like I belonged and felt pretty alone most of the time. I do see my sister Laverne, she lives about 10 min. from me, and yes she's still the same old Laverne, that girl can keep you laughing. We're both chubby bunnies now but what the heck we're in our sixtys so who really cares. I'm not really sure what I thought my life would be like but I am surprized that I've been married this long, I'm sure he's going to make sainthood cuz I really was not easy to live with but I have mellowed in the last 29 years. L.O.L. So to all of you who might remember me I hope your lives have brought you all the joy, love and great expectations you dreamed of in our youth
