Phil's Story
Life
After high school, I attended Elon, where I got hooked on being a radio DJ. Started the first on-campus radio station at Elon, which is still on the air today! Left school after my sophmore year to pursue radio full-time. Lived (in chronological order) in Atlanta, Birmingham, St. Louis, Lubbock, TX, Tampa, Chicago, Kansas City, Indianapolis, Tampa again, Lake Charles, LA, Dallas, and finally moved to Fresno, CA in 1980 (whew!) where I live now. while (Drexel Burnham, E.F. Hutton, Great Western Bank) and got into the mortgage industry in 1989. Did retail for 7 years, and wholesale for about 4 years, and now doing retial at Bankers First Mortgage in Fresno. I am a high school basketball referee, which I enjoy a great deal, and also enjoy backpacking all over Yosemite National Park and the Sierra National Forest.
