Phil's Story
Life
Born in Pittsburgh PA (1/7/60), just in time for the Kennedy inauguration. Lived in 9 states over the course of my now 48 years on this here planet (currently calling Atlanta GA home since 2004). After graduating from THS, moved with my family out to LA. Got a degree in Telecommunications but decided to pursue my ever mutating muse. T'was not an uneventful time in my life, having lost my mother to cancer a year after graduating, and my dad remarrying about 3 years later. Held down a day gig and played on the club circuit in LA for much of the 80's, fave band was Insect Affect, a sort of prog-rock/psych/funk/Zappa-esque biting satire band. ass guitar and gigged a fair amount. Also for a time worked with a major business magazine that I loved!
More recently, due to the rather horrid economic conditions in New England, I picked up twigs and feathers and relocated to Atlanta GA. Currently employed with a unique staffing agency called Psychiatrists Only (we place mental health professionals) in an administrative capacity.
I just released (12/18/2007) a new CD of experimental music with a biting sense of humor called "Guaranteed To Be 100% Free of Hit Singles" ("Ghost Of A Train my last one came out in 2006, "Tales From The Inflatable Forest" came out in 2002) . Life is good here down South all told, just wish I'd moved here years earlier.
