Phil's Story
Life
After high school I enlisted in the US Navy and end up in Vietnam aboard the USS Sanctuary (hospital ship) through all of 1968.
Since then I have been a respiratory therapist for 33 years and am presently working at a Long
Terma Acute Care Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
I have been married for 28 years and have a 21 year old son who lives in Arizona.

ast 38 years. I started as a US Navy Hospital Corpsman after high school, including a year as a surgical technician aboard a hospital ship in Viet Nam. I went into respiratory therapy in 1972 and have been an RT since. I presently work in a 25 bed Long Term Acute Care Facility in Kalamazoo. Formerly a manager, but presently a staff RT on the nightshift away from all the managerial insanity. I love caring for patients.
