Phil's Story
Life
I don't think that many people would recognize the professional version of me! My life changed for the better after a near-death automobile accident. I didn't find God or any of that, but I became a person focused on developing a career. It wasn't until I accepted a job offer with Tyco Electronics in South Carolina that I began to find my strengths and develop my leadership and management skills. arried at the age of 30. After several different roles with increasing responsibility, I evaluated my progress and decided to leave the automotive OEM sector. I made a rare move back to Connecticut to pursue new challenges at Tyco Healthcare (formerly US Surgical) in North Haven. After more than two years in process management, I decided to undertake a new challenge, and recently pursued a functional change to the Quality Assurance group as a Quality Engineer. On a sad note, my wife and I have separated.
