Philip's Story
After graduation, I joined the Air Force. I met MJ in Holland in 1991 but, we didn't get married until 1997. She retired from the Air Force in 1997, and after 20 years, nine months, I retired from that career in 1998. I then started working for Rockwell Collins in Kent WA. In 1995, I came to know Jesus Christ as my Savior. I mention that because I believe anyone that's "saved" is working out their faith. n't want to give my life to anyone. By 1995, I had realized there was nothing in this world that would quench my thirst, calm my heart, or answer my questions like the God I had learned about as a child. There was no point in running from God anymore...So now I live my life, still with the questions and some of the anxiety, but, now I have an instruction manual, (the Bible), and I know that events are unfolding according to His plan. I still go to work, pay my bills, pray for my friends, help those in need, and do the best that I can. That's my life.
