Philip's Story
I went to Del Campo soph. and jr. years.; transferred back to Bella Vista to graduate. I was on the swim team at Del Campo.
After graduation, I was a neuropsych tech in the Navy during the Viet Nam war, and after that I got married, went to seminary, had three kids, pastored some churches, got divorced, went into therapy, was a single parent, went back to school in a doctoral program for clinical psychology, got my doctorate and starting working in community mental health for children and families in Portland, Oregon. Then I moved to North Carolina to do the same kind of work, eventually moved back to Oregon, and joined a large group practice, where I was recruited to come to Bermuda and join a group practice here (that is...Expand for more
where I currently reside). Along the way I became active among gestalt therapists globally, and I now do conferences and workshops in the States, Europe, Asia, Australia, and South America. I am a published author and certified professional coach (graduate of the ICF accredited coaching program at the School of Leadership, Duquesne University). I conduct a practice of psychotherapy, assessment, organizational consulting, coaching, and training. I am also an organizer of research through practice-based research networks globally. I'm a clinical psychologist license in Oregon and North Carolina and registered in the British Colony of Bermuda. I'm a certified gestalt therapist by the European Association for Gestalt Therapy.
