Life
No kids(Thank God)-but a 125# Japanese Akita-I do rescue work with Akita Club of America. Nearly died last August due to misdiagnosed ruptured appendix(got money from hospital & doctor so I'm not hurting for money). Got hooked on Vicodin after getting out of hospital-spent 3 weeks in Greensboro detoxing-Vicodin is nasty stuff to detox from-don't try it. Now pursuing career I originally planned on in high school-Graphic Arts-all pre-req classes out of way, so me and the dog are just bumming. Got a little side business-I take people's old family photos, scan them into the computer, and using imaging software, create a CD/DVD "virtual" photo album-right now, folks here in K'vegas(where I now live)are keeping me hopping with it, so it's strictly word of mouth. Volunteering by reading for sight impaired people, and helping Down's Syndrome/physically/mentally challenged people ...Expand for more
in computer/digital photography lab. Anyway, I own my house, car's paid for and all utilities still on. Lost my Dad in 1995 to a brain tumor. Mom has gone back to work(she and my dad both retired from RJR in 1983-they had a good 10 years travelling all over the US)at JC Penney's at Hanes Mall-if you see a little old lady hanging clothing up or restocking-that's her-she LOVES it-gives her something to live for. The dog rescue thing keeps me hopping too-adopt from a shelter or rescue-a lot of really good loving animals need homes-mine is the size of a Shetland Pony(according to my mom). But, he's the best car/house alarm ever-I can leave the car running, cell phone and check book on the front seat at Wally World and everything is still there when I get back. We've lost some classmates over the years-I read the obits everyday and if I'm not in there, it's a good start for the day!
