Philip's Story
Class of 67. Served in the U.S. Army in the Republic of Viet Nam as a member of the 101st Airborne Division
, started out as a assistant machine gunner, then as a squad leader, I learned the Purple Heart wasn't the most desirable medal to earn, all one had to do is just, be unlucky enough to get shot

After the military, worked in the oil field, drilling down twenty-five thousand feet in search of oil and natural gas, retired from Bureau of Reclamation performing safety checks on dams.
Enjoy fishing and hunting, like to read, do stained glass and like classic rock.
Have been married to my wife Barbara for forty-six years, together we had two children. Janet and Caleb, our son passed away in 2010
