political and governing body described in his book "Starship Troopers". Citizens take personal resposibility for the saftey and security of thier country and are rewarded with privileges that include voting and owning property. Civilians do not. I think that our founding fathers would be appauled at how little some Americans take the rights given to them from the blood sweat and tears of our fallen and our protectors. In that capacity I think that Americans should have to earn some of thier rights in honor of those who gave them to us. Two years in the service to the greater good of our country and it doesnt even have to be combat".
