How can it be that I graduated from good ole' Calhoun 35 years ago?! Maybe it's all the beer drinking and dope smoking that's clouded my mind through the years but it sure seems like only yesterday that I was at the bleachers on a Friday night partying and singing with the boys until the cops chased us away. Good ole' days that I will never forget. Anyway, yes, I'm still alive and have been sober for 10 years now. Well, O.K., I still light up and get alittle happy once in awhile but the drinking is history. After graduating from an upstate community college in the early 70's , I continued to play my drums- which I still do- with quite a few folks including my buddy Kerry Agnew. I drove a cab to support myself since I didn't make any $$ playing music- you know how that goes. Alot of bucks went up my nose though; that was fun! moved up to Saranac Lake, N.Y. and moved even further into the woods in '97 to the little hamlet of Loon Lake. I've been working for Trudeau Institute for 19 years. It's a research facility that deals with anything to do with the immune system. The studies are mostly with cancer, HIV and TB. I work in the animal husbandry department, that's right folks, I raise about 250 different strains of mice that they use for their experiments. It pays the bills and allows me to live in my 2 bedroom, Victorian cottage with my 2 Corgies, Ziggy & Harrison. I'm still into music,( the DOORS are still the best, I don't care what anyone says!), I collect antique clocks and yes, I do need a girlfriend so Cynthia if you read this and are available, drop me a line!
