Philip's Story
So what have I done in the last 45 years? Pretty much everything. I've traveled around the USA (for work mostly) Married, have a son. I suppose I've done much what every one else has done. Jobs, I worked as a paralegal, management analyst, Computer IT person. On the good side I did get to retire in my earlier 50's. Oh well, I guess not everyone gets to win 117 million dollars in the lottery. (Of course I didn't! -- Why would you believe that?)
What do I do now?I collect antique Christmas ornaments. The wife enjoys telling everyone she lives with the head Elf! I manage to get a tree in every room and pictures or decorations on every wall! It looks likes a Christmas factory exploded in my house - It's everywhere! Yet, I don't put the first decoration outside.
I moved up to York to get away from Maryland taxes! I don't even have to file a state return up here!
I do have some fond memories of Woodlawn '70. Some of my best times and worst times were at that school! I tend to remember the best times. Life is too short to dwell on the bad times or missed opportunities!
So if you've stumbled across my profile - Welcome and thanks for looking! I...Expand for more
hope that you've enjoyed your life as much as I have.
I suppose my only real regret from high school was my yearbook picture. It was taken on a 95 degree day and I was running late for my appointment. What a horrible time to capture for posterity! Hopefully I got better with age.
On the slim chance that you actually remember me - feel free to send a note and say HI. pmhpmhpmh at live. com
Ms. Valerie Sylvester - 12th grade English - I can't tell you how much you inspired me in life! For a period I wrote for a technical computer magazine! Could not have done it without you! You pushed me down the "English" road, and I went kicking and screaming! I remember handing in a paper and you handed it back to me and said I know you can do better! When I got to the end of that road I had a true respect for what you did and how you did it!
Some of what I've accomplished in my life is founded on your demanding I do better!
MANY THANKS!
On the small chance Ringgold the French teacher is still around -
I TOLD YOU I WOULD NEVER GO TO FRANCE!
Learning french is a complete waste of time! No one likes the French!
Whew, I always wanted to say that!
Enjoy
