Hi there -I've gotten lots of questions lately about the number of kids I have - yes, for all of those who know me and find this a shock, I do have four children. However, I did it the easy way: I had triplets (three boys) and yes it DOES run in the family and no, having multiples DOES NOT skip a generation. Then when the triplets were nine months old, I became pregnant again with a baby girl. So, four children and only two pregnancies....not a bad way of doing it, huh?! For those of you doing the calculations: yes, this means that at one time I did have four children under the age of two. Currently I have four kids under the age of four. I figure it gets better every year...one...Expand for more
day I'll be able to say I have four kids under the age of twenty and it won't sound so bad (except when I have four teenagers living under one roof...I guess that's when the heavy drinking starts....just kidding ;) ) In regards to me having help: I was very lucky. My twin sister, Kirsten, moved in with my husband, Phil Lowe, and I when the boys were three months old and lived with us until the boys were three. So, I always had an extra pair of hands around, especially when I needed them the most. And what better hands than their mamma's twin sister and beloved aunt? Plus, grandma is always around too.
