Philip's Story
Life
My wife, Ruth Denise Roys Lowrie, and I just had our 17th wedding anniversary. Between us, we've got 5 wonderful children, and 6 grandchildren. My wife just retired from public school teaching. She taught in the Lake Washington School district, and Highline (White Center Heights El.) as a music teacher. She is still teaching a couple of college classes at Northwest University. I have my own business cleaning windows. Denise and I are hoping to get our new photography business going: Photo by Phil. We haven't had much business yet, but we love practicing on our grandchildren. We live in Des Moines, WA., and attend church in Renton. We love our Lord, Jesus very much.

lways fun. Killing time hiking up to the pond on the hill. Getting on that rickety ol raft, pushing out into the murky water looking for frogs, salomanders, polly wogs and water skippers. Riding bikes down that long steep hill to the Lewisburg store hoping to find some bottles to turn in for 3 cents to have some spending money for a 5 cent Baby Ruth bar that was two fists long. Riding my bike out past the store to McLagans hoping to catch a glimpse of cute little Sue or riding South past the Baptist church to maybe catch a glimpse of Pam R.
How much water has gone under this bridge of life I have been on these 53 years!!!
Vacation Bible School was great. Learning all those memory verses. singing "Send the Light" and listening intently to the Flannel Graff stories of David and Goliath, The three Hebrew children, and of course Jesus on the Cross!
