Philip's Story
55 years ago this coming August 17th 1968 my wife Mary and I began a life long Journey together...
It all started 3 years earlier as I was working at Steak n Shake on East Main Street when I notice this pretty little girl came in to fill out an application for a car hop position. I guess my curiosity was noticeable when Harold Schultz, our night manager said to me “Philip put your eyes back into your head and get back to work.” More later concerning this life long Journey of 55 years as we were led through what I can only described as improbable.

l as any newlywed couple. For, there those times of adjusting periods and getting to know one another, their likes and dislikes, lets face it no one could ever make chili like mother. Or having her say “I am your wife and not your mother you need to learn how to pickup after yourself”.
I worked for several of the major factories in Danville which included Hysters and General Motors and several others in the area.
After living on the wrong side of the Cross filled with drinking and the sort; I became friends with co-worker and was naïvely lead into a lifestyle that if it not been for the Lord intervening… .
