Bonjour!
Things are good. I moved from Montreal to Barcelona in July of 2001 to be with Anna and we live in her home town of Argentona, just outside Barcelona, after spending a year in Girona. Living in Catalunya is nice. Very nice. Maybe some day we will have the money to afford to buy an apartment in Barcelona but until then, we enjoy living in a small town. I now speak Castillan (Spanish!) and I understand Catalan... I still have to do the extra effort and learn to speak it. That will come.
I work mostly at home, coding computer programs. That's what I've been doing after graduating from Concordia University in 1989, and in my home offices since 1993.

We travel quite a bit. Whenever we have a long week-end, we take the opportunity to catch a flight to wherever (especially if it's Wherever, Italia!) Destinations are plenty from Barcelona and flights are very cheap in Europe.
We don't attend musical events as much as we want to since it usually means driving to Barcelona but we do go to concerts of experimental or contemporary music when we can. We also enjoy contemporary dance very much. Weeks are too short to do everything we want to do. I suppose that's a problem for most people!
