Phillip's Story
Well I am not sure what happened on this site. I was a registered member for over 10 years.
But somehow it vanished. So I will start over. After I left Chaska I went right into t.he work field.
Starting in a candle factory, then running it, When that closed I went on to Hydroponic farming.
Growing tomatoes and cucumbers. On the side we also grew pine tree seedlings for the Fed and State. There are thousands of them all over the state. In 1982 I went to get my GED, I passed that with out taking classes. The tester asked why I did not gradu...Expand for more
ate since I had such a high score. A long story there. Then I went on to work for The Creamette co. as a pasta maker, then later promoted to supervisor. When Borden (the owner) went belly up I went on to Vo Tech college to become a machinist. While learning that the teacher asked me to work with him. Now I have two jobs. I work part time as a lab assistant teaching Mold making, Tool and Die and CNC machining at Hennepin Tech. I also work in a machine shop making medical components. Many are so small I need a microscope to see and measure.
