Phillip's Story
Life
Have been married 43 years this Sept. 10, 2006. Retired Nov. 2004 from The Columbus Dispatch in Columbus, Ohio. Worked in the newspaper business almost forty years in Reno, San Francisco and Santa Cruz. Have been researching my family history since retiring. Have been traveling to those area's where my families lived. Traveling is my second love. My son, Chad and I went to France last Sept. 2005 and did a five day WWII tour of Normandy that was wonderful. We also spent a few days in Paris and London. This year, 2007, the wife and I will spend a week in Cap Cod. Anybody getting near to Columbus, Ohio, give us a call and we'll hook up.

birth to twins girls Nov. 18th 2008. They were premature and only weighed 1.5 and 1.9 pounds. As of May 21st 2009, they are doing well and are still in Childrens Hospital in Columbus, OH. The last 5 months has been like being on a rollercoaster. It's going to take a few years for Callie and Emma to get over their lung problems. But the Doctors say the outlook is very good.
Update...Callie came home 6/23/09 and is doing well. Emma still in the hospital, hope to have her home in September. Her lungs are taking longer to develope. Emma is now home and doing well.
