In 2011 A friendof my boss was in indanapolis at the race track and found that Parnile Jones had thrown a rod out of the side of the block of the First race car to win the first Incy 500 in 1911. It is a Marmon Wasp. The people there told him they could not find a sorce for cast iron pistons for the car because no modern piston makers make cast iron pistons. he told them he new someone who could make them for them.
