Phillip's Story
When I graduated from High School, I joined the Arizona Army National Guard in July 1971. I served in Desert Shield / Desert Storm in 1990-1991 in the 2220th (LMT) Light Medium Truck Company, Transportation Unit in Phoenix, Az.
I was a Platoon Sergeant when we were federlly activated for Desert Shield / Desert Storm in September 1990.
In 1993 I transfered to the 158th (CSB) Corp Support Battalion and was promoted to (MSG) Master Sergeant. I was in the Battalion for about two months and transfered to State Area Command (STARC) in February 1994. I have worked for Arizona Department of Transportation for 18 years. I began my tenure with ADOT in Printing Services as a Offsett press operator in December 1992, transfering to (ITG) Information Technology Group in October 2000, transfered to (MVD) Motor Vehicle Division as a Project Manager for the (DDL) Digital Driver Licensing for the State of Arizona. I'm currently working in Information Technology Group again for ADOT continuing my speciality as a Project Manager, not only for MVD but all of ITG respectfully. My wife and I have been married 38 years, March 3rd, 2011. Enjoying life and the grandchildren.
