Phoebe's Story
I'm currently living with my dog and two cats in Chicago. I'm the Director of Budget and Planning for City Colleges of Chicago, which is a district of 7 community colleges. I've been here for about a year and a half. I hate the winters here, but the summers are great.

Public Policy from The Ohio State University, and ended up loving it and staying. I spent a couple of years working for the state department of Job and Family Services as a budget analyst. After that, I went to work for Columbus Public Schools, where I spent almost 5 years serving as the Budget Director for the district. I often descibe my experience there as "the hardest job you'll ever love."
