Phyllis's Story
Life
I am married to the love of my life, John Dill. I have 2 kids, 1 girl (Mary-Alyssa) and 1 boy (Carl Jr.). I have 2 cats (Kiki & Lizzie) and 5 dogs (Tessa, Bella Lue, T-Bone, Biscuit, & Suji).
School
I had 4 major crushes in high school, but only 2 were sincere. I was totally in love with Jason Blankenship then Tommy Jones. I lusted after Jesse Benkert. I was deeply amused by Wayne Oakes and loved his humor. I dated Larry White for what seemed like an eternity. For awhile I thought Larry and I would end up married. It started out with him flicking me with a rubberband in ISAP. He lived 2 doors down from one of my best friends, Russell Wichmann. Not long after meeting Larry, we were inseparable. We have seen each other a few times over the years and have remained friends. I have also seen Jesse a time or two at a club downtown, but there was never any sparks. Guess it was a high school thing. As for Tommy Jones, I have been looking for him for years. I have always wondered what became of him and wish him well and a good life.
Joe'l Bonn, my half-sister, was my best friend from 7th grade until 11th grade. We started to drift apart and go our separate ways. She persued a career in 'dance enterainment' and I decided ...Expand for more
to go into Medical and Business Management with a short stay in the Army. Barbarella Lewis, was my very best friend that I have missed so much since high school. We grew so close and had so much fun together. We drifted apart for many years but have just reunited. Barb & I keep in touch via email.
Denise Hersh and Faith Clifford were two of my other really good friends. I have spoken to both of them and they are doing fairly well. Faith and I keep in touch now via work email!
If I have left anyone out, I am sorry. My memory isn't the greatest now after serving time in the Army under live fire! LOL
College
I went to KY Tech in 1997 for Medical Insurance Claims. I joined the Army in 1999. I did some computer classes in NY. When I returned to KY I enrolled at JCC for Business Management. I also have a Life & Health Insurance License.
Workplace
I am currently working with Tricare, which is Military Health Insurance for Active Duty and dependents and Retirees and their dependents.
Military
I joined the US Army in 1999 and went to Fort Jackson, SC for Basic Training, Fort Gordon, GA for AIT (31R Multi-channel Transmission System Operator Maintainer). I was stationed in Fort Drum, NY for the remainder of my duty.
