Phyllis's Story
Where do I start? I have been pretty busy since 1976 raising 3 beautiful daughters and now I find myself at a crossroads. Been divorced and my youngest daughter moved out. So I find myself in the "empty nest syndrome", so they call it. Strange being alone but decided to rescue a dog from the Lees Summit Animal Shelter. You could save I saved his life and he saved mine. They say if you own a pet you live longer. I tend to agree, I love animals and they seem to love me as well. After all these years I get to concen...Expand for more
trate on just me. So I have been very active and learning new experiences that life has to offer. So many opportunities to explore and places to see. Thinking about making a bucket list but I still have plenty time to live. I feel younger now than I did 20 years ago. Been working for the same company over 18 years and enjoy what I do. My family is most important to me and something I am most proud of, being a good Mother to them.
