Phyllis's Story
After 42 years of marriage to the most wonderful man in the world, my husband Duane passed away from lung cancer in March 2006 in Lady Lake Fl. We made the most of everyday and enjoy and cherished all the memories and time we had with each other. Now is another chapter in my life. I have a lot of friends here and am involved in a lot of things. I joined the singles club and have met many nice people, both men and woman. up golfing and am a golfnut. I have 5 grandchildren. I have had stories published in 4 books to date, with 3 more coming out in the future. I live life to the fullest and I live in paradise.
In 1989 we lost our youngest son Brian at age 19 to murder. I spent years at the State House lobbying to get laws changed for victims, Founded The North Shore Chapter of Parents of Murdered Children, did a victim-inmate prison program and did a lot of public speaking across the New England States and Philidelphia against the Death Penalty.
