I worked as a customer service manager and scan analyst for Lowes Foods until 1988 when I married and moved to Kuwait.I have traveled all over the world, and almost all of the Middle East.I lived in Jordan, for awhile, and have made numerous trips to Saudi Arabia, and Eygpt.I have seen Germany, France, Italy, and Denmark. I stayed in London for 3 months as well. I lived in Kuwait until 2000. I worked in international banking then left to pursue teaching. Came back home in 2000, remarried, bought a house in Winston Salem,worked for Food Lion as a merchandising specialist while returning back to school(UNCG) to get my teaching license. I moved back home(now in Level Cross) and in with my parents to help my dad take care of my mom. I will graduate this May in Middle Grades Education with three concentration areas-in Math, Science, and Social Studies.I remarried for the second time this March and spent the summer in Cairo with my new husband. I was unable to have my own children, but have helped raise several nieces and nephews and plan on being a foster parent.
