Phyllis's Story

After graduation, my initial college path was to become a teacher. Life then took a different turn with marriage and two wonderful sons. In my thirties, I was divorced, remarried, and became Registered Nurse. I practiced 32 years of nursing at Grossmont Hospital and Sharp HealthCare; retiring in 2014. I have been divorced 20+ years. s are my sons, my 2 grandchildren, and my dogs. After spending my whole life in San Diego, I moved to New Braunfels (Texas Hill Country) May 2015. It's so beautiful here. I am enjoying long walks, gardening, and getting into a bit of mischief with my sister. It's good to know we can still get into fits of giggles at our ages. Life is good.
