Phyllis's Story
Life
I was Phyllis Frazier in High School and hung out with Jill Watson,Pat Moore, Dale Fike, Jim Newberry, Annette Mayfield, Carol Douglas, Steven Gordon, Fred Dunsworth, Adrianne Puckett, Beth Jackson and lots of folks who went to Centennial Jr. High and Grayland Grade School. We lived at the corner of Grayland and Excelsior and then moved to La Mirada. My parents owned Frazier Tire Company on Imperial Hwy. I am now full time RVing with my husband (A Santa Rosa native) and an Irish Setter. All kids are grown, married and hopefully happy because with a fifth wheel there is no home to move back to. I would love to hear from anyone who rememb...Expand for more
ers me fondly. I too remember the submarine sandwiches for 50 cents with roast beef and gooey cheese. My favorite teacher would have to be T. U. Hawley (Chemistry and Biology) only because he kept getting his tie caught in the cupboard door to give us a chuckle.
Much has changed since I originally put in my bio. We are living in Sherman TX and have given up the RVing. We have 9 grandchildren and one great grandchild. There is number 10 on the way. I did travel back to Excelsior for 100th Anniversary of the school and enjoyed seeing old friends. It amazed me at how small the school looked because I remembered it as being so much larger.
