Phyllis's Story
Worked at Brookley Field and Sears Credit Dept. Married to Al Smith who happened to live across the street from me. We have 3 children, 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild on the way. We have been married 50 years. We have 3 acres in Semmes and I do a lot of gardening. I am a Deacon at Westminister Presbyterian and this is my 6th year to serve. I am head of Missions at my church and I devote a lot of time to that and being a Deacon. I also do a lot of extra charity work. One daughter is in Pensacola, one daughter in Mobile and one son in California. I am also a crafter. And, I am a picture taker from age 12. I am now sorting pictures and giving each family member all their pictures. I collect a lot of things, but mostly the MacDona...Expand for more
ld's glasses from 1995. I am also trying to locate the pictures I took of classmates at Murphy. Wish me good luck, I have boxes of pictures. I have one brother and he is a graduate of USA and 2 of my children also graduated from USA and my oldest grand-daughter graduated from Springhill College and USA. This is all I can remember now. (it's the age thing, you know). Oh, just read "where have you been: I have been to Alaska, Hong Kong and California and Texas and Kenturcky and Malone, Fl and Pensacola, Fl. I am anxious to hear from anybody, anytime. My cousin graduated with us; Julie Sanders and her friend Melanie Bouler and Al's sister Pat Smith Hamby and I just saw Nelda Shirley Stanley for the first time in about 48 years.
