Phyllis's Story
In high school you knew me as Phyllis Sloves. I was very active in the music dept. still keep up w/my music. I was a member of All-City H.S. Orchestra from 1957-59. I am a flustist and hold the principal chair in the Bloomfield Symphony. I am a member of the North Jersey Wind Ensemble and do other free lance work.
Several years ago I became interested in designing/creating jewelry. I participate in craft shows whenever possible. I love doing it and it matters very little if I sell the pieces or not!!! I also do memorabilia scrapbooks. Every spare corner of my apartment has craft or jewe...Expand for more
lry stuff in it! Needless to say, boredom doesn't exist in my vocabulary. These are fun things to do however my full-time job gets in the way!!
In December 2011 I went on a Safari to South Africa with my daughter. She gifted me with the trip for my birthday. It was the most incredible experience of my life. I will never be able to view an animal in the confines of a zoo. We took over 3000 photos and about 5 hours of video. It took about 20 hours total travel time to get there and about 23 hours to get home. Inspite of that I would go back in a heartbeat if the opportunity presented itself.
