Update 2020 My Deceased Spouse, Clark G. Webb The first time, on Thanksgiving day, 1983, when he came to pick up an international student from Dominica who was living with me. We next met in the counselor's office in 1985, when we were both struggling with our first marriages. We became good friends through church, traveling to Nicaragua with Witness for Peace, and other concerns. and married in 1990. We both were activists and enjoyed our life together. Clark soldhas been selling herbs, vitamins and minerals throughout VA, WV, MD, and DC and had his own health food store for 25 years in Blacksburg VA, where we live, which he sold 2 years ago. Sorry, did not realize I could update this.......Truly sad news.....My husband died of an aneurism 5 years ago, very unexpectedly, the week before we were going to go to the Pittsburgh to see 3 Pirates games to celebrate our 25 wedding anniversary. The Pirates had been his team since grade school, and HOW WE LOVE Pittsburgh....the rivers converging, like Binghamton, the awesome music, art, restaurants, and the wonderful people. UPDATE.... June 19, 2020 Two weeks ago I moved into assisted living, Showalter Center at Warm Hearth Village in Blacksburg. Getting used to not getting ouit has been hard, but I TOTALLY understand why they have the quarantine!!!! I have been asked to play the piano and have a singing hour twice a week, as the director of program heard me playing songs from 2 60's books I have. Should be fun!!!! Right now I am quarantined for 3 days, as I had to go to the doctor's, but I am truly fortunate with a gorgeous view out the windows of my apartment of sky, clouds, and trees. ALSO, friends can come to the parking lot and talk with me, as I am just 3 floors up. :>) Hope you all have a wonderful summer!!! Surely do miss the lakes of...Expand for more
