More about Phyllis:"Born in Basin, Wyoming in Jan 1949..Dad says the coldest winter in history for Wyoming. I had 5 brothers and 2 sisters...two brothers died only 4 months apart. That was Rick, 9/03 and then George Jr.1/04 I miss them both very much. While growing up, we lived in Powell, Cody and Burlington,Wyoming, Seattle, Everett and Lynnwood, Washington, Baker,Montana, Marmoth, North Dakota, and Huntington Beach, California....am I missing anyplace? Jr High was in Mukelteo, Washington. Attended Old Huntington Beach High first year in Ca...then Marina High. Then I eloped with a sailor when I was 17 in 1966. My son, Travis born 1/17/68. Jason born 5/6/69 and Troy born 10/22/70.
I graduated from Berkley School of Nursing Arts in Santa Monica,California class of 1977. Nursed for the most part of 33 years, taking 13 years off to live and work in the Alaska fishing industry. I Lived in Dutch Harbor in the late 1980's.
My former last names include my maiden name, Johnson...Bunn, last name of my children, Webb, my young adult years,..Giemza,then Johnson during the fishing days...and now Hughes which I will keep, thank-you. Hope to meet up with some friends from the past on Facebook. I miss many old friends and wonder how they are doing.".
