Phyllis's Story
Life
Hi everyone. Don't take health for granted. Enjoy every moment. I am currently recovering from a right knee replacement . Three months since the operation and I continue to recover slowly. I have scheduled a left knee replacement for the end of March.. Prayers appreciated. I empathize with anyone that has had a knee replacement. Hope to hear from you with positive news. Love you all. Take care and stay healthy. Prayers for everyone.
I remarried a wonderful man, Jim, in 1993 and I'm living and now retired in downtown Chicago. My husband, Jim, has three wonderful children, two daughters and a son. I'm a Grandma to eight granddaughters and five grandsons- ranging from 30 years old to 9 years old.
I married (John Zielinski) and had two children with him. Two wonderful children, Philip (50) and Nicole (44). I am so proud of my children. Philip Zielinski is a general contractor, He owns Modern Image, in Brighton Park. 773-4074041. He builds homes, remodels homes...Expand for more
, installs windows, etc. in the Chicago land area.
Sadly, we lost Johnny in April, 2013. He was loved by his children and many friends.
My daughter Nicole Pusateri is a real estate broker. She owns a real estate business in Bridgeport called Bricks Realty (312) 545-1690.
My Mom and Dad use to own Phil & Rose Pizzeria on Cermak Road (22nd St.) between Damen and Hoyne.
I stayed in the Chicago area my whole life. Traveled to London and Paris on a college scholarship in 1988. In 1986 I won a trip to Washington, D.C. to meet Ronald Reagan, unfortunately he had to fly to Libya because of conflict in the Middle East. However, we did get to go into the Oval Office.
I did go to Brussels and Bruge, Belgium a few years ago. It was great!!! It was my husband's first time in Europe. We have been spending time in Marco Island, Florida for the winter.
Went to Disneyworld with a couple of my grandkids. It was magical.
I thank God for my family and friends and for his blessings.
