Life as of 6/04/14 I was married for 35 yrs. until my hubby, Ron Pendill,Sr., died in '02 of Squamous cell carcinoma. I have 2 children..Kristi-born in '68,& Ron Jr.-born in '72.I am a grandmother of 4.Kristi's 3-Davielle-29,David-28,& Keisha-20. Ronnie has 1-Libbey-11yrs. All but Ronnie live in Billings...he's in Minnesota! David was in the Air force stationed in FL. after spending 2 yrs. in Japan. he is out now & planning on going to college. I also have 4 step grandsons~Blake who is 20, Jarod who is 14, James who is 6&1/2 yrs. & Alexander 5 yrs & 1 step granddaughter,Sarai 5&1/2. I became a great gramma to identical twin girls in Sept.'08. Gt.grandson Daelyn {Dae} was born July 17,2010 & is the light of my life!! Broke my heart when Dav decided to move to Ohio to be with her boyfriend!! But now I have another gt.granddaughter,Andielle,who was born in Jan.2014. I remarried almost 11 yrs. ago to a wonderful man,Joe, who was born & raised in CA. He likes to take me traveling in our spare time~spent a month in Australia with some of his family in '06~ & he spends all his free time with me. My kids & grandkids adore him!! I worked up until 8 yrs. ago in the dry cleaning business but consider myself retired now. Joe works at one of Billings refineries as a head operater. I have never lived outside Billings. Joe wants to move to Australia when he retires in 2 yrs......we'll see!! Another option he threw at me is to spend 6 mos. here & 6 mos. in Australia....6 mos. during our hunting season & 6 mos. during theirs!! Our oldest granddaughter, Davielle, is his main hunting buddy....wonder if she'll go for that??!! We usually make it to California every year....also Spokane where Joe's daughter lives & Minnesota to see my son, who finally got married. We now can add Ohio as our yearly trip to spend Dae's birhtday in July. I'm still praying that they will move back to Billings!! The teacher I'd like to see again would be Mrs.{Miss?} Strutz because when I got married during my sophomore year, I was told she lectured the class for an hour on teenage marriages & how they never work out. I'd want her to know my teenage marriage lasted 35 yrs.!!! It was rocky but when we finally grew up it was great.....damn cancer! Another past time I enjoyed was to go to garage sales then selling on ebay. Have slacked off on that this year as ebay is making some changes. May 20,2016 On May 14th,2015 another gt.granddaughter was born to my granddaughter Keisha in Denver at the Denvers Children's Hospital. But this birth brought many tears & fears. We knew before hand that this birth could end in death. Baby Kaedra has a rare and severe heart defect called tricuspid valve dysplasia & pulmonary atresia. Drs didn't expect her to survive birth. They had to take her almost a month early. Her story is told on Prayers for Kaedra's Mended Heart. She had 2 open heart surgeries the first week & a half after birth. But this little girl has defied all! After spending almost 9 mos. in the CICU they released her! But Denver is now Keisha & Kaedra's home since Billings hospitals wouldn't be able to give her the care she needs to survive. We celebrated Kaedra's 1st birthday!! Now the wait to see when her next surgery will be needed to replace the valve that she will eventually out grow. We make at least one trip a month to Denver to see our girls!
