Janet's Story

Life After graduation I went to work for a brokerage firm in Baltimore and was in this business for about 9 years. But it was just never me! I moved to Carroll County, Md. where I began raising and showing quarterhorses. This grew into a very profitable and rewarding businesss. In the winter months, I would travel south to the warmer show circuits, and liked Florida, so decided to relocate here. Also, my family had all moved here. I've been here over 13 years. It's okay, but more or less like the old saying "it's a nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to live here". I still miss Maryland and belie...Expand for more
ve it or not SNOW. Building a snowman out of sand on the beach and putting up christmas lights on Palm trees just isn't the same. Other then that, life's been pretty good. Eventually, am considering moving back to Maryland or possibly, another location in Florida, that's a little more layed back. I have one son, that finally made the choice to move to Florida, closeby, making it feel more like home. I also, have one step-son, that lived here when younger, but returned to Maryland as he missed the farm life. Hope everyone that reads this has had a great life so far, and I would like to hear from you.
