Pina's Story
I got married in 1979 to Angelo Coppola and divorced in 1982. I re-married in 1998 to my current husband Robert Katz.
Robert & I bought our home in 2002 where we now live on the West Island with our miniature poodle. I have had many different jobs in various fields.
From 1980 to 2004 I worked in various jobs in the health care field such as:
Hospital, Medical Clinic, Physio Clinic, Radiology Clinic, Nursing Home, & Nursing Placement Agency. I then switched over to the Business field which included working for an Electrician Company, Certification/Accreditation Company,
Software Company and lastly changed career once more working as a Nail Technician. For the past 2 years I have been unemployed due to some health issues.
I am seriously considering writing and publishing a book about the challenges people face when living with a physical disability. I feel that the need to do this comes from my everyday experiences that I encounter personally as I am the primary caregiver to my husband who is quadriplegic. And so this is my story.

he student council.
I always wanted to be a medical secretary when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out they were right.
My favorite way to relax is to listen to classical music and read a romance novel.
The wildest thing I ever did in school was light up a cigarette in the girl's washroom.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have coffee, coffee, and more coffee to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
I guess I would have to say that my hero is my mom. She always brought out the best in me.
I used to live downtown and I wanted to get away from all the noise pollution so I moved to the West Island.
I love watching, football, soccer and hockey. I am a dog lover and I treat my poodle as if he is my child !
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel my flooring and add on a solarium. My dream home would be in Florida.
If I won $100 million, I'd give some of it to charity, then spend the rest on family, friends and investments.
My current age is 50. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be boring. I was so completely wrong.
