Pj's Story
After HS attended CC 2 years, followed by 2 years at Univ. Degree Math/CS Minor Chemistry. Worked 3 years as Software Engineer at 3 different employers. Sitting behind a desk just wasn't for me, so back to school I went on to get my doctorate (DO). Met my spouse (sister of a former co-worker 2 years after leaving engineering (Small world)). Started residency living near poverty... almost got food stamps :-( and along came baby #1. Changed residency hospital after 1 year to pur...Expand for more
sue EM at another suburban Detroit hospital. Baby #2 during 3rd yr residency, better apartment in better location. Lots of moonlighting to pay the bills during years 2,3 and 4. Moved back to Chicagoland mid 90's bought our 1st home, sold it, rented 2 years as we bought a lot and built our dream home. Best financial decision we've ever made. 2 More children followed back in Chicago. Worked since mid 90's at large trauma center. Avid sonographer as and additional clinical skill.
