Life
My Spouse
We had friends who wanted us to meet, we didn't trust our friends' opinions so put it off for quite a while, ended up sort of caving in and going on a blind date, were engaged within weeks, married within a few months, and have been happily married for 31 years now.
My Pets
We had a wonderful albino female rat named Squirmy that I loved, but was severely allergic to, so I could touch her very rarely. I'd break out in welts and have trouble breathing, and my spousal support unit would get very mad at...Expand for more
me for holding her. She got cancer and we had to have her euthanized. My then 12-year-old and I cried and cried, and the receptionist told us, "I'm sorry about your...your...your pet."
My Job
I'm in pharmaceutical and device clinical research. I specialize in HIV, ophthalmology, and oncology studies, but basically do whatever's needed. I travel extensively for business.
College
I went to GSU, graduated in '78 with an AS in Nursing, and in '84 with a BS in Urban Health. My roommate Sheila and I are still buds.
