Polly's Story
I was married for 28 1/2 years and have been a widow for 21 years.
If those things don't make a body feel old, look at the newspaper stories that tell us that the UT Tower shooting was 50 years ago and was the first incident of its kind. The news media refer to things as "History" when I remember them as "Current E...Expand for more
vents". Our world and our perspective have really changed. Some of those changes have been helpful and welcomed by most of us and some of those changes have been burdens for other people.
Does anyone else have trouble with "Current Events" being labelled as "History"? Or being the oldest one in the office.? etc.?
