Lesli's Story
Life
I attended a lot of schools in my day. Fullbright Elementary where I learned what it was really like to have good friends and how to play dodgeball (remember that?)My first crush was on Tim Ruddell. Mr. Leyton and Mrs.Carter were my favorite teachers. Parkman Jr. High where I first got my heart broken by a boy, actually several boys. Parkman was a turning point for me. Charlene Matson and Patty Payne were my best friends. I had my first slumber party with my junior high school friends and my first co-ed party. Sherman Square Roller Rink was my favorite place in the whole world and I was secretly in love with Tom Lauifi and Kevin Allman. Taft High School, where I learned what it was like to cut classes, smoke cigarettes and date guys with fast cars that really didn't care much about girls. My biggest crush was Steve Simon and some of my closest friends were Megan Roncone, Chris Pagano, Elaine Hall, Kristie Mull and Craig McReynolds. I lost my mother to diabetes while attending Taft, and I had great supportive friends there. This began the rebellious teenager cycle. I then went to Canoga High school where...Expand for more
I continued to get crazy, cut class, smoke cigarettes and hang out. Seannah Dunnagan, Karen Homer and Robbin Kline were some of the girls I hung out with in the House of Pancakes parking lot, Tracey Hanson was my best friend. And I was in love with Jim Foster and wild about Ronnie Russell. I do still talk to some friends I made there. Pandemonium was the hottest thing in Hollywood, at least I thought so, and I spent many a nights at Doug Weston's Troubadour. Needless to say I did not graduate and spent many years trying to find myself. Now? I live in Oregon, and have a beautiful 6 year old daughter. My family still lives in California and I see them often. I truly believe my biggest accomplishments would be my daughter Jessica, meeting my two biological children (for the first time in April of 2004), Lana & Danny (long story), And eight years ago (at the age of 32) I put closure on the whole high school thing and took my GED. Now I can say I am a high school graduate! I also quit smoking in January of 2000 and have become a Treadmill fanatic. Still sassy as hell! And I look forward to hearing from you all.
