Robert's Story
Well slowly but surely gettting bits and pieces filled in. Fished commercially for a couple of years late 70's. Married Susan Miller in 1980. Worked locally in West Seattle and Bellevue. Studied Journalism, History, and Psychology at South Seattle. Worked for Bob Wilmot downtown for a brief time before taking over operations after his retirement.(The greatest boss I ever had!) My first daughter Cherie was born Oct 1, 1986, Angela to follow a short time later... Sept 11, 1994. Invested in Real estate in the 90's while working construction management. All the while living in the same home Susan and I first bought in 1983. Today I am semi retired, yet busy as ever (remodeling and rentals). Susan works with Dr. Tweedy in West Seattle. nd is a fantastic soccer player and all around clown and entertainer. (Where does she get it?) We also have a sweet little pooch named Ginger that is a Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix. Turned 50 this year and although my hair color has changed and is a little shorter these days, I look exactly the same as I did when I was 49... Still bump into classmates once in a while. Alki looks a lot different these days. One can hear languages from around the world and all of the beach shacks have been replaced by condos. We still like to go down and grab a cup of chowder or fish and chips walk across the street and sit at the bulkhead. What little spare time we get we entertain friends at home, venture out to Westport to see dad, or go cruising the sound and San Juans in our classic Tollycraft cruiser.
