Sue's Story
I was born in Lansing, MI while my father was in graduate school and have been a "Californian" ever since. I graduated from Wilcox High School in 1977 and went to San Jose State to study social work. I got married in 1980 (divorced in 1999) and have two sons; Matt who is 27 and teaches high school history and will be getting his Master's in April. Matt lives in Santa Cruz so I get to see him a lot. Ryan, 23 is finishing up his degree in economics from St. Johns University in Queens, NY. I live in Capitola where we have been since 1985. Being near the ocean is vital for my well-being and I enjoy all of the things that life by the sea has to offer. I just celebrated my 50th birthday with a wonderful party with about 50 friends and family. We danced until 2:00 am and had a great time. Kinda fun to have it be 'all about me' for a day ;-)
I currently am the Vice-President of Operations at a Medical Case Management company that specializes in catastrophic injuries that happen on the job. It is a remarkable company that does great work.
