Priscilla's Story
I am married to Tom Burgeson; we will celebrate our 20th anniversary in June. I am the mother of two. Jeff is a mortgage analyst VP at Bank of America. Julie is a stay at home mom. She had a wonderful and exciting 25 year career as a film and television actress. I am Grammy to 5 of the most precious (grandparents, you know what I mean!) grandchildren: Makoa is the oldest at 9 years, Kapono is 8 years, Noelani Louise (Louise after me, yay!)is 4years and they belong to Julie; Benjamin is 7 and Sophia is 5 and they are Jeff's. I spend a lot of time with all the grands, taking them to the movies, the park and for treats. This is actually the best time of my life. I love seeing the world thru their eyes.
My working career ending April 2008 when I sold my business, Condra/Artista
Talent and Modeling Agency in San Antonio. I started the business from my home and spent 25 years working hard to make it one of the largest and most respected agencies in Texas. It was an enjoyable career and I have lots of wonderful memories of my days in "showbiz". ns I just have to get up and jot down! This is more of a relaxing time though Tom, and I stay quite busy. We travel a lot with trips to Hawaii, Alaska, Mexico, Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, Australia and New Zeland---and that is just in the last 2 years! I also take oil painting classes and have promised myself that this year I will spend more time painting. I really enjoy it although I have much to learn. But that is what my life is all about.
We sold our house in Westlake Village, Ca. a couple of years ago when Jeff told us the market was going to crash. Thank goodness we took his advice although we have had "our stuff" in storage for most of the time and at times feel a little discombulated. Fortunately selling our house at the top of the market has enabled us to make choices we wouldn't have been able to make otherwise. We are planning on spending the summer in Hawaii again this year. Then we are not sure where we are headed. Will let you know. We have to take advantage of this time in our lives. We never know what will come up that will limit our choices so we just have to go for it while we can. Life seems to be passing faster and faster each year.
