Pura's Story
Life
We met in Spring, Texas in 1991. I miss the weather and great food in California... He missed the seasons... We now live in Cape Girardeau, when we moved there in 2004. We first lived in Gordonville... moved back to Spring, Texas in May of 2016... we came back to Missouri in November of 2016... and here we shall stay till our last living day... We now live in Jackson, Missouri... and we love where we live and the neighbors we have. Something very rare for my Jerry... our baby girl Amber decided to stay in Texas when we first moved to Missouri in May of 2016... She called us a month later and said she wanted to come on up and live near us here in Cape Girardeau...but wait till she celebrated her 18th birthday wish her friends in April, first... So we did... she stayed with us for probably a month and was off and running! First living in Cape Girardeau.... then in St. Louis... then in Kansas City, Missouri... and finally settlin...Expand for more
g down I St. Charles, Missouri since about 2006. She’s definitely a “Blues” fan (hockey) but her heart continues to share both the St. Louis Cardinals and the Houston Astros! So that’s our story! ... for now...
I have 4 grown children.
I met my husband about 8 years ago at his Bakery/Cafe in Old Town Spring, (a little tourist type town just north of Houston). We were married 7 1/2 years ago. We moved back to his home town of Cape Girardeau, Mo. ( a charming small town on the banks of the Mississippi) 4 years ago where we opened a small family bakery until 2 years ago where health issues gave us no choice but to retire.
We live in the country about 10 minutes from town. We love our home. We love to travel whenever possible.We love the beach so whenever possible, we drive down to Panama City Beach, Florida for a few days.
My youngest daughter moved up here with us and she now lives in Saint Louis and is doing extremely well!
