R.D's Story
Joined usmc after BHS .I was in the Engineers. Went to Vietnam in 1966. Have had PTSD ever since. got out of USMC in 1968. used g.i. Bill, attended Lee University (Cleveland tn.) 1968-1972 ,B .A. sociology.Got married in1971,moved to Savannah,Ga. I was a parole offi.
cer for many yrs. Attended Univ.of
Ga (M.Ed ii rehab. Counseling ) in 1978. i have two children,Daughter Nicole ,age 37,a son Christopher,age 35
I was a commercial artist when I retired. I visit family in Bessemer several times a yr. would love to make contact with anyone. I had a great time at BHS and have many good memories there. My best friends...Expand for more
at BHS were James Jordan and Gary Elam. Hope to hear from someone who remembers me. By the way I have three granddaughters,ages 3-16. Can anyone tell I didn't take typing at BHS or anywhere else!
