ROBERT's Story

Life Enlisted U.S. Navy September of 1961. Boot camp at Great Lakes, Communication Technician "A" school in Pensacola, Florida, followed by tours in Bremerhaven, Germany and Nicosia, Cyprus. Back to "B" school in Pensacola, then off to the USS LIBERTY for 18 months. Toured the entire west coast of Africa, then went to "C" school in Norfolk and became an instructor in the Navy Reserve Training Program in Skaggs Island, Cali...Expand for more
fornia. Then to "D" school in San Diego where I completed a Programmed Instruction school. Discharged from the navy in December 1969. Married to the former Joyce Gabrielsen in 1966. We have two children...Dawn 33 and Chad 30. We currently reside in Albrightsville, Pennsylvania. Joyce is retired from teaching. I work in the plumbing and heating supply business that operates out of Hicksville and travel to PA on the weekends.
