RONALD's Story
After playing college football and graduating from the US Naval Academy, I was commissioned in the Marine Corps. while I thought I was done with football, the Quantico Marine football coaches had different Ideas. I ended up getting injured and was set loose with a pension and you tax payors have been supporting me for the lasst 43 years. I came back to miami and got a mastrs degree from u of m on a disabled veterans program. While getting the degree I went back to Edison as a volunteer coach. the teams I coached never lost to Miami High. Then,With degree in hand, I went to san francisco with a flower in my hair to do estate and business planning. I found I hated attorneys who thought they knew it all and ruined my plan presentations. so I hiked back to miami to get a law degree on the regular GI bill. I beg...Expand for more
an substitute teaching and helped coach Edison's only state championship team in 1970. at that point I got side tracked and got married and began evening law school at the U of M. full time job, wife and two children, coaching fotball and going to law school at night and graduating cum laude was a challenge. a busy time. then I began my third and last career-litigation attorney. like playing football but we usually don't hit each other. have won and lost big ones, ran my own firm. meet payroll everyweek and never owed anyone a dime. Hurricane andrew rearranged my life and legal practice and I ended up moving to Ft Myers, Fl to open a branch office for a large state wide firm. after our 50th I plan on doing a little more fishing and just enough legal work to keep bait on my hook and other nefarious endeavors.
