Rachel's Story
I would have never thought that I'd turn into one of those sappy happily-ever-after stories, but here it is:
Most of you know that my mother passed away freshman year. After graduating from high school in three yrs, started to go to Citrus College, at age 16. (Bet you were wondering where I'd gone off to...) In a nutshell I stuggled for a time to get my life on track. It was very difficult to be a divorced single mother with two kids - I worked two jobs and put myself thru college. I still don't know how I did it. I can only say that it was by the grace of God. turned 27, a dump in the ghetto, but I had fun turning into a home improvement diva. Soon after, I married Daniel, whom I had worked with for years before we were a couple. Sold the dumpy house and bought a new one in Temecula wine country.
Amazingly enough, I live a boring normal existence with my husband, three kids, (ages 16, 11, and 1) and our dog.
We love to travel and experience the world as a family. We attend church and have various sports, etc that we do. These days, if I'm not bouncing the baby on my hip or hauling my kids to ?!* activities, I can be found practicing tae kwon do, reading, or working on home projects.
I'm still very much a type-A, hyper and opinionated as ever.
